Romney's Vision

Romney Rogers is a third-generation resident of Fort Lauderdale. His roots in the community are deep; the Rogers family arrived in Fort Lauderdale in 1925. For 30 years he has been involved in community service as well as serving as a
third-generation lawyer in the law firm which his grandfather founded. His personal history with Fort Lauderdale has given him not only a love for the community, but also a perspective and understanding of the city that few people possess.

Romney's concern for the community is evident when he talks about why he is running for Commissioner. “I want to be sure we’re talking about the right things,” Rogers says.
